Casper Cole & Raws release new EP ‘The Soul/Indigo’
London-based Casper Cole has been a consistent presence on Blaufield Music since his debut in 2020. He first made an impression with a standout remix of Booka Shade’s ‘Perfect In A Way’ before delivering the memorable ‘Fader’ as part of the label’s ‘Fourtunes 2’ compilation. Since then, he has solidified his position as a key member of the label with multiple EPs and a notable remix of ‘Blackout: White Noise’ on the ‘Booka Shade: 20 Years Reworked’ compilation.
With additional releases on respected labels like Oddity and Running Clouds, Cole’s ability to craft immersive, dancefloor-driven soundscapes has earned him a reputation as one to watch.
For ‘The Soul/Indigo’, Cole teams up with Raws, an emerging producer and instrumentalist. This marks their first collaboration and results in a two-track EP brimming with melodic richness and dynamic energy.
Opening the EP, ‘The Soul’ is a deep and emotive journey driven by hypnotic grooves, lush textures, and a soulful undercurrent, blending vibrant vocals with dancefloor potency. In contrast, ‘Indigo’ takes a lighter, more atmospheric approach, combining ethereal synths, crisp percussion, rich keys, and sweeping melodic lines to create an uplifting composition.
