Stimming has released ‘Keys Don’t Match,’ a new track featuring vocals by Dominique Fricot. Available through Stimming Recordings, the song previews his forthcoming album ‘Friedrich.’

The downtempo piece highlights Stimming’s masterful production, blending intricate textures and evolving soundscapes that intertwine with Fricot’s ethereal voice.

Stimming reveals the personal story behind the track: “It’s the final remnants of my “coming-of-age” story. While working on this piece, I finally reached the point where I could let go of my first relationship, which had lingered in my mind for nearly 15 years—the simple yet poignant metaphor of mismatched keys helped me close that chapter.”

Hamburg-based producer Stimming has made his mark on house music with distinctive productions since the late 2000s. He launched the DOCtron IMC compressor in 2021, expanding his creative output. His career spans from his 2009 release ‘Diynamic and Reflections’ to recent work with the NDR Vocal Ensemble in 2023.
