Cabizbajo is a Mexican DJ and producer who has quickly established himself as one of the most prominent Latin American acts in the techno scene. Seamlessly blending genres – from Indie Dance, Dark Disco, and Tech House to driving techno—his energetic style and keen ability to read the crowd have become defining characteristics of his performances.
A notable milestone in his career came with a live set at Boiler Room Guadalajara in 2016, an appearance that catapulted him into the international underground spotlight. Since then, he has shared his ever-evolving sound – ranging from slow, guitar-infused melodies to pounding techno productions – on a variety of labels including Sincopat, Duro, and Turbo Recordings. In April 2024, Cabizbajo released his debut full-length album, ‘Loved Alone,’ on Roam Recordings, further showcasing his breadth and artistry.
Cabizbajo’s impact is evident in his extensive tour history. In addition to maintaining a residency at the renowned Bar Américas in Guadalajara – a collaborative project involving shows in multiple cities under his careful curation—he has performed at some of the most respected events and venues around the world. Highlights include sets at Day Zero (Tulum), Crosstown Rebels: Get Lost (CDMX), Electric Daisy Carnival (Mexico City), Tecate Pal’ Norte (Monterrey), and an opening set for Eric Prydz’s HOLO at a sold-out Palacio de los Deportes (capacity 20,000). Internationally, he has appeared at venues like Renate (Berlin), La Dame Noir (Marseille), Red Light Radio (Amsterdam), and more.
Currently based in Mexico City, Cabizbajo continues to expand his global footprint with a dynamic approach to production and performance. His dedication to innovation and his commitment to electrifying dance floors have solidified his status as one of the most compelling techno artists in Mexico and across Latin America.
