Australian producer ZUSO has unveiled his latest single, ‘Erase You’, featuring Melbourne-based vocalist Matilda Pearl. The track delivers a rich blend of melodic textures, ambient synth work, and heartfelt lyrics, offering a glimpse into ZUSO’s forthcoming EP.
Built around an atmospheric and evolving soundscape, ‘Erase You’ explores the emotional terrain of fading connections. ZUSO shared that the track came together unexpectedly: “It was never meant to be a song… I ended up creating such a powerful progression that I knew I had to turn it into something.”
Originally titled ‘For What It Once Was’, the single gained its final form after ZUSO sent the demo to Matilda Pearl, who responded with her vocals the same day. “It sounded amazing, and I knew I had to finish the song that same day,” he added.
With its introspective tone and cinematic production, ‘Erase You’ serves as a strong preview of what’s to come on ZUSO’s next EP, which will feature a lineup of special guests and is expected in the coming months.
