High Class Nasty co-founder Late London returns with Fallout EP — a two-track solo release blending classic influences with raw, modern production. Out April 11, the EP pushes the label’s sound deeper into minimal, groove-heavy territory.

The Lead track, Fallout, twists big band swing into a hypnotic breakbeat, while Your Dub blends eerie textures and reggae vocals into a dark, driving groove.

A music video for Fallout premieres on April 15, celebrating breakdance culture through gritty, analog-style visuals. In underground spaces, the video captures the rhythm, tension, and physical expression at the heart of the track.

Whenever I’m working on music, I tend to go against the grain. If everyone’s flipping Latin samples, I’m in the polka section looking for drum breaks.

With this lead track, I didn’t really know what I wanted to write at first. I had been watching a lot of movies lately—which is new for me, since I hadn’t really watched many until this past year. And I started thinking: Man, these scores are SO big and majestic. What’s going on here? What’s making them feel like that?

That led me to this idea: What’s the biggest, most driving style of music out there? And I thought, Big Band music sounds… well, big. I mean, it’s in the name. Why don’t I look for some samples?

Let me tell you, it’s not easy to sample Big Band. Even with AI stem separation, the speed, the size, the frequency range—it’s all tough to work with. But I eventually stumbled across one sample and just went, DONE.

Then I thought, What kind of vocal could work here that doesn’t “fit” in the traditional sense? I did some digging and found a bunch of old warnings and public fear around nuclear war. I put two and two together—and honestly, I think it came out pretty cool.

I hope you all enjoy listening to this EP as much as I enjoyed making it 🙂
