Manchester’s PROGRESS has announced an ambitious Summer music series set to run from April to September 2025, transforming its Ardwick site into a hub of open-air day parties and cutting-edge electronic music. Alongside the main space, this season sees the official launch of two new venues: Square One and Cakebread Street.

With a capacity of up to 5,000 people, PROGRESS continues its mission of reimagining Manchester’s industrial landscape, turning underused urban spaces and car parks into vital cultural destinations. The series will feature a diverse program of forward-thinking electronic artists, with appearances from Maceo Plex, Shy FX, Chaos in the CBD, Rossi., Ross From Friends, Kolter, Conducta, Call Super, Amaliah, Dr Rubinstein, East End Dubs, MK, Sicaria, and many more.

Highlights include the return of Animal Crossing x Slapfunk for a Bank Holiday Block Party, the Manchester debut of food-and-music concept FUME BBQ Festival, and an ExtENDed takeover across Cakebread Street.

April kicks off with Kolter and guests, followed by events hosted by P-rallel, SHÈN with Franky Wah b2b Cristoph, and Ross From Friends with his new Bubble Love concept. May features standout shows from Shy FX & Stamina MC, Animal Crossing b2b Slapfunk, Chaos In The CBD, and Maceo Plex, while June and July see Warped x 23 Degrees, FUME Festival, and East End Dubs taking control.
