Rony Seikaly returns with a brand-new three-track EP titled ‘Mariposa’, out now via STRIDE Records, delivering a project designed for both peak-time dancefloors and introspective moments.
The EP opens with its title track ‘Mariposa’, a lush, emotive cut featuring sensual vocals and elegant piano melodies layered over a warm, deep groove. ‘Mami’ follows with hypnotic basslines, fluid percussion, and an intimate vocal performance, while ‘New Day’ closes the release with a serene progression of soft keys and subtle atmospheric elements.
“Mariposa has a distinct energy. When I started producing it, the first spark came from the vocal, it unlocked the emotional core of the track. From there, it was all about building around that feeling: subtle layers, grooves that breathe, nothing forced. Each track on the Mariposa EP lives on its own, but together they create a shared mood. My goal is always to release music that says something and makes people move, whether in headphones, on the dancefloor, or both,” Seikaly commented.
