Ministry of Sound will celebrate the life and legacy of UK disco icon Andy Williams, better known as Yam Who?, with a special memorial event titled Dance for Yamz, taking place on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at the London venue. Tickets are priced at £10, with all proceeds donated directly to Williams’ family following his sudden passing in March.

The night will feature a lineup of artists from across the global house and disco spectrum, including Dave Lee JN, Horse Meat Disco, Greg Wilson, Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, John Morales, Melvo Baptiste, Michael Gray, Young Pulse, Sophie Lloyd, Seamus Haji, The Reflex, Red Rack’em, Alan Dixon, Graeme Park, and many more — all uniting to honor the man who helped shape their musical journeys.

Andy Williams was a foundational figure in the UK underground for over three decades. As a producer, DJ, and label head behind Midnight Riot, Black Riot, and ISM Records, his output as Yam Who? touched dancefloors and hearts around the world.

Travis Derrick, Head of Talent at Ministry of Sound, shared: “We’re proud to host Dance for Yamz in memory of Andy. He played a huge role in shaping the scene, and this night brings together artists who were part of that journey. It’s about giving back to someone who gave so much.”
