A powerful new remix from Jinjé, the solo alias of acclaimed UK producer Lee J Malcolm. Reworking Kʒːlu’s hauntingly atmospheric Still The Voices Come, Jinjé transforms the track into a deep, immersive dancefloor journey. “As soon as I heard the original, I knew I could bring something new,” he explains. “With the exception of a lead synth line, every sound in this remix comes from the original material — it was such a joy to work with.”
Known for his intricate production style and emotive electronics, Jinjé has released music on respected labels such as Mesh, Ostgut Ton, Earthly Measures, and his own imprint, Making Friends. His solo work reflects a dynamic evolution from his earlier role as founding member and songwriter of the celebrated post-rock/electronic group Vessels.
Jinjé’s music has gained support from the likes of Jon Hopkins, Max Cooper, Gerd Jansen and nd_baumecker, with airplay across BBC Radio 1, 6Music, and XLR8R. As a live performer and DJ, he has played everywhere from Glastonbury to Sonar Istanbul.
