Each June, Barcelona becomes the living pulse of electronic music culture. Less a festival, more a decentralised constellation of moments. Timed around the official programming of Sónar Festival, Off Sonar, Off Week, among others, have grown into something else entirely: a celebration of club culture at its most vital and elusive.
What began as a sideshow to Sónar’s avant-pop and art-tech agenda has evolved into a parallel ecosystem where the most exciting conversations in dance music are happening not in convention halls, but in unmarked warehouses, on sun-bleached rooftops, and along the city’s stretched Mediterranean edge. For four days, Barcelona becomes a dense, kaleidoscopic map of sonic possibility. The place where industry heads, vinyl die-hards, and nightlifers collide in spaces that blur the line between party and pilgrimage.
Below, we highlight a curated list of this year’s most anticipated moments. Those rare alignments when space, sound, and setting meet in perfect symmetry. Here is our 2025 Barcelona guide.
