Bedouin return to their Human By Default label with their first release of 2025, joining forces with Robin M and Morcheeba’s SKYE for a seven-minute collaboration titled ‘Heavy On My Mind’.
The single marks a fluid convergence of live instrumentation and club-ready finesse, with SKYE’s original vocals riding atop a textured mix of organic percussion, Spanish guitar lines, and soft piano motifs.
“We made this tune with summer on our mind… our new collab with Robin M and Skye is now ready to be your soundtrack on and off the dancefloor,” said Bedouin. Robin M added: “‘Heavy On My Mind’ came together in one of those rare, effortless sessions. Bedouin and I refined the track with a natural flow. We knew it needed a fresh vocal, and the first person who came to mind was my friend Skye from Morcheeba. She absolutely nailed it.” SKYE shared: “I’m delighted to be part of this stunning track. It has an energised spiritual vibe. Lyrically speaks of yearning and desire. I cannot wait to hear it played loud in the club.”
As Bedouin gear up for a busy summer, including festival stops at Sonus and Sziget, and the continuation of their SAGA residency in Chinois Ibiza, this release sees them dial into a more intimate sonic space — a collaborative moment of creative synergy between three seasoned artists.
