Out now via Lovebuzz and Disco Halal, Moscoman has unveiled ‘Low Blood Sugar’, a gritty collaboration with SCUDFM that signals a sharp stylistic turn. The single is the third from his forthcoming album ‘Caviar’, due September 12th, 2025.
Driven by a pulsing bassline and tightly wound melodies, ‘Low Blood Sugar’ draws from the darker energy of 1980s underground music, merging post-punk and new wave influences with Moscoman’s atmospheric production. At the core is SCUDFM, whose commanding vocal performance adds a spoken-word intensity to the track, bringing narrative weight and a punk ethos.
“When I sent the track to Warren (SCUDFM), I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect—just that it had this Cure-like atmosphere, with a circling bassline and plenty of space for something raw and honest. What I didn’t realize was how seamlessly it would connect with something they’d already written. It just fell into place. And what came back had this unexpected, quietly anthemic feel. A silent killer,” shared Moscoman.
Known for his versatility across labels like ESP Institute, Greco-Roman, and I’m A Cliché, Moscoman has consistently reshaped his sound. Alongside his own work, Moscoman continues to nurture his Disco Halal imprint, fostering a diverse collective of artists including Simple Symmetry, Red Axes, and Auntie Flo.
