Barcelona-based producer and Marginalia label founder ELIF has joined forces with Berlin-based artist Predex for a new collaborative release titled ‘Praise The Sky’, out now on Frau Blau. The EP includes remixes from Ae:ther and Rodriguez Jr.
Combining emotional depth with melodic finesse, ‘Praise The Sky’ showcases the pair’s shared musical sensibilities. The title track blends cinematic textures and subtle intensity, while Ae:ther delivers a lush, celestial reinterpretation and Rodriguez Jr. contributes a warm, analog-driven remix with deep groove sensibilities.
Born in Istanbul, ELIF has built a global presence through her signature storytelling sets and carefully curated productions. From her early support via BLOND:ISH’s Abracadabra streams to over 100 international performances, her ascent has included features on BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, and Mixmag Asia. In 2023, she launched her own label, Marginalia, focused on supporting emerging artists.
Predex, formerly known as Ata Urküt, brings a background in progressive metal and a journey through multi-genre live performance in the UK and Turkey. Now based in Berlin and focused on melodic techno, his collaboration with ELIF reflects a natural creative alignment rooted in shared origins and evolving sound.
