Chilean artist Yulio delivers a textured, introspective session for EGLO.067, now available on SoundCloud and Mixcloud. Currently based in Zagreb, Croatia, Yulio is the artistic alias of Julio Muñoz, an electronic music producer with more than two decades of experience in the scene. He began as a DJ in northern Chile before relocating to Barcelona in 2003, later founding the label Kraftoptical in 2006.
The mix blends ambient, IDM, and space music into a deep sonic exploration. With a focus on retrofuturism, climate narratives, and the analog-digital crossover, Yulio offers a soundscape that feels meditative yet immersive. The set also features his own track ‘Echoes of Eternity’, closing the mix with a personal touch.

With previous albums like ‘Contact Interstellar’, ‘Venus’, and ‘Cosmic Fractal’, Yulio’s work continues to orbit the experimental edge of techno and ambient. His latest release, ‘Symphonies from the Retrofuture’ (2024), further expands that narrative.
