French duo The Blaze just released ‘FOLK’, an 18-track live album recorded at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall. The project is now available via Animal63.
Comprising cousins Guillaume and Jonathan Alric, The Blaze are known for their multidisciplinary approach, fusing electronic music with visual storytelling. With ‘FOLK’, they offer a collection that shifts focus outward, capturing not only their own sonic evolution but the collective energy of their audience.
Similar to ‘Dancehall’ and ‘Jungle’, ‘FOLK‘ transcends its musical category to capture human experience. The album harnesses live performance’s emotional power, weaving their discography into a seamless journey. Songs like ‘CLASH’, ‘PLACES’, and ‘RISE’ are transformed through the live setting, each taking new shape on stage.
Also, in support of the release, they have shared a cinematic visual soundtracked by ‘QUEEN OF DUST’, directed by The Blaze alongside the production company ICONOCLAST. Watch it here.
