Amelie Lens has released a blistering remix of Anyma, ARGY, and Son of Son’s track ‘Voices In My Head’. The rework arrives via her EXHALE imprint and follows the Belgian artist’s recent ‘Serenity’ EP and her ‘One Mind’ collaboration with Charlotte de Witte.
Originally featured on Anyma’s ‘The End of Genesys’ project, ‘Voices In My Head’ combines the creative talents of Afterlife co-founder Matteo Milleri (aka Anyma), melodic techno mainstay ARGY, and newcomer Son of Son.
In her remix, Lens strips the composition to its essential elements, layering forceful kicks, razor-sharp percussion, and a grinding bassline beneath the track’s eerie vocal loop. Her version transforms the original into a peak-time techno cut, balancing mechanical precision with immersive tension.
“When I heard the original ‘Voices In My Head’ track for the first time the idea to make my own version got stuck in my head immediately and I couldn’t let it go,” said Lens. “I worked on the remix, started playing it and realized that this version is the perfect balance between my own sound and the original, so I couldn’t be happier and prouder to finally share my take on an amazing track with the world!”
