Drumcode has launched a new V/A EP series titled ‘DC4’, inspired by the label’s popular A-Sides compilations. The debut edition brings together four tracks from members of the extended Drumcode family.
Opening the release, Kaufmann’s ‘Broncho’s Sandman’ delivers a vocal-led cut straddling techno and progressive influences. Timmo follows with ‘Miami Vice’, a colourful techno piece driven by celestial energy. Mark Reeve returns to the label after four years with ‘Stop, Go’, blending elements of techno, hard trance, and pop into a high-impact workout. Closing the package, Goom Gum teams up with London producer RDNK on ‘It’s Time To Get High’, which evolves from crisp melodic lines into a psychedelic second half.
‘DC4 Vol.1’ underscores Drumcode’s commitment to presenting a diverse yet cohesive take on contemporary techno.
