Electronic Groove Records welcomes Barcelona-born DJ and producer Pedro Sanmartín to its new mix series. Known for his deep, hypnotic blends of house and techno, the artist has been refining his craft since the mid-2000s, creating immersive journeys rooted in patience and precision.
The mix flows through selections by Ercos Blanka, Shoges, Danny Howells, Phonic Funk, Pedro Sanmartín, Circulation, GMJ & Matter, D-Nox & Beckers, Klangfamilie, Sonson, Foglight, Avision, Architectural, Delano Smith, Rolando, Ken Ishii, Janeret, Stee Dowes, Nick Curly, Hardfloor, and Pablo Bolívar, including his own productions ‘Streams’, ‘Memory Lane’, and ‘Singularity’. A deep, emotive, and timeless session, it offers listeners a space to connect, reflect, and move.
Originally trained in Fine Arts, Pedro transitioned to music after formative experiences in Germany’s club scene. Since 2005, he has released on labels including Seven Villas, Tronic, and Tenampa, earning support from Hernán Cattáneo and Christian Smith. His 2020 debut album ‘Unfolding Nature’ championed minimalism over complexity.
His work has been featured on Ibiza Global Radio, Ibiza Sonica, Deepersounds, and British Airways playlists, while his performances have taken him to Amsterdam Dance Event, Electro Beach, Nitsa Club, Razzmatazz, Insomnia, and Culture Box, sharing stages with Guy J, Rrose, Pablo Bolívar, and Nhar.
