Charli XCX has shared a short teaser from her upcoming A24 film, ‘The Moment’, giving fans what appears to be the movie’s opening scene.

Posted to Instagram on Saturday, August 16th, the clip featured a stage photo from her live show in Gwacheon-si, South Korea, overlaid with the text: “Please don’t let it be over.” The caption echoed the same phrase.

Produced by A24, ‘The Moment’ stars Charli XCX, Rosanna Arquette, Alexander Skarsgård, and Jamie Demetriou. The film’s score will be composed by A.G. Cook. Charli, who also co-produces through her new company Studio365, plays a fictional pop star preparing for her first headline arena tour. Arquette takes on the role of a record label executive, while Skarsgård appears as a “fashionable European creative.”

Alongside ‘The Moment’, Charli is also reportedly producing and starring in a horror project directed by Takashi Miike. Both films are backed by her Studio365 banner.

In related news, the artist had been cast in a remake of the 1978 horror classic ‘Faces of Death’, alongside Barbie Ferreira and Dacre Montgomery.
