Sammy Virji links up with Chris Lake for ‘925’, now available via Capitol Records UK. The cut is the latest preview of Virji’s 16-track album ‘Same Day Cleaning.’
‘925’ delivers sleek bass house, simmering with tension before unfolding into a rolling, understated groove topped with an infectious vocal hook. It marks the pair’s second collaboration after 2024’s ‘Summertime Blues’, which has surpassed 36 million streams.
The track follows recent singles including ‘I Guess We’re Not The Same’, ‘Nostalgia’ featuring Issey Cross, ‘Dis Badman’ with Champion and IRAH, and the Top 40 hit ‘Cops & Robbers’ with Skepta—highlighted during his Glastonbury performance earlier this year.
Sammy Virji’s summer has included a Times Square pop-up, a stadium debut at Forest Hills, and standout performances at Hideout, NOS Alive, Mad Cool, and Tomorrowland, with upcoming shows at All Points East, Reading and Leeds, and a full US tour.
