Madonna has confirmed plans to release a new dance music album in 2026. The still-untitled project will be her first studio LP since 2019’s ‘Madame X’, and marks a return to the sound that shaped her 2005 release ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’.

The album will reunite her with longtime collaborator DJ Stuart Price, and also mark her return to Warner Records after more than two decades. Madonna originally signed with the label in 1982 under its Sire Records imprint, where she remained until joining Interscope for 2012’s ‘MDNA’.

Reflecting on her early days, Madonna described the original Warner deal as a turning point in her life, and credited the label for their long-standing creative partnership. She also expressed enthusiasm about reuniting with them, and hinted at continuing to challenge expectations and spark conversation through her work.

Earlier this year, Madonna released ‘Veronica Electronica’, a remix album of her 1998 record ‘Ray Of Light’, featuring reworks by Sasha, BT, Peter Rauhofer, and Victor Calderone.
