Carl Cox’s full vinyl set from [UNVRS] Ibiza is now available to stream as part of BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix series.
Recorded on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, the performance marked the penultimate night of Cox’s summer residency at Ibiza’s newest superclub. The evening also featured Sven Väth, Ida Engberg, and Anna Tur. Described by Cox as “raw, real, and straight from the crate,” the session saw him and Väth go back-to-back with no sync and no effects.
“Sunday was pure magic,” wrote Cox on Instagram. “Sharing the night with Sven felt just like the old days…no sync, no frills just two friends spinning records & sharing the moment with you. Thank you for being part of it.”
[UNVRS], the newest venue from the team behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, has shaped its 2025 season with residents like Fisher, Eric Prydz, Anyma, and David Guetta, while also hosting standalone shows by Charlotte de Witte, Sara Landry, No Art, and others. Looking ahead, Cox will join The Prodigy on tour next April, delivering a two-hour, three-deck vinyl set each night.
