A staple of Toronto’s underground house music scene, Jenner has carved out a distinct space through powerful sets at events like Coda, Electric Island, Harvest Festival, and Cherry Beach. Her international reach continues to grow, with appearances at Katerblau in Berlin, The Mayan Warrior at Burning Man, and SXM Festival, among others.

In 2024, she made her production debut with ‘Release’, a collaborative EP with Sydney Blu on Berlin’s Katermukke. Since then, she has followed up with releases on Fall From Grace—helmed by Glenn Morrison—and UK imprint Stripped Recordings. Most recently, Jenner launched her own label and event series, Darkest Hour Records, which is quickly establishing itself with a forward-thinking sonic identity and growing industry support.
This October 23rd, Jenner will join Robag Wruhme, Anja Schneider, and others at Duke of Tokyo in Amsterdam for a special ADE fundraiser by Electronic Groove and Listed. 100% of proceeds from the event will go to UNICEF’s emergency efforts supporting displaced children in Gaza.
In this conversation, Jenner opens up about music’s role in activism, staying grounded as an artist, and what it means to play for a cause.
EG: Welcome, Jenner, it’s a pleasure to have you here for this special ADE fundraiser event. We’re grateful for your support. Let’s begin…
Jenner: Hello again! Thank you to Electronic Groove for having me — I’m really grateful to be part of this ADE fundraiser. It’s always inspiring to see our community come together for something meaningful, and I’m looking forward to sharing music and energy with everyone
there
EG: Jenner, where are you right now, and how are you preparing to join this special lineup at ADE?
Jenner: I’m in Toronto right now, wrapping up a few studio projects before heading over. I’ve been putting together a special set for this event — something that really captures the energy of ADE but also stays true to my darker, melodic sound. I’m excited to share it with everyone and be part of such a meaningful lineup.
EG: You’ve quickly made waves with releases on respected labels. What does it mean to bring that momentum to a charity stage?
Jenner: It means a lot, honestly. I’ve been really focused on building my sound and connecting with labels that align with that vision, so bringing that momentum to a charity event feels full circle. It’s a reminder that the music can do more than just move a crowd — it can actually bring people together for something bigger.
EG: As one of the newer voices in the scene, what responsibility do you feel when music intersects with activism?
Jenner: It’s about using music for more than escape — using it to connect, to raise awareness, and to give back in ways that feel real and honest.
EG: What do you hope to express in your set at Duke of Tokyo?
Jenner: I want to bring a sense of connection and warmth — something that fits the energy of the room but still feels personal. Duke of Tokyo has this intimate, playful vibe, so my goal is to take people on a journey that’s both uplifting and a little unexpected. It’s about creating moments that feel alive and shared, not just played.
EG: Looking at the industry today, what gives you the most optimism for the future?
Jenner: What gives me optimism is seeing how connected the global music community has become. Technology makes it easier to collaborate, share ideas, and support each other, and there’s a real openness now to new sounds and perspectives. That kind of creativity and unity gives me a lot of hope for where this scene is heading.

EG: What was the moment you realized that music could be a force for more than just fun — that it could help people?
Jenner: There wasn’t one single moment — it’s been a gradual realization. Over time, through touring and playing, I’ve seen how music can spark joy, bring comfort, and create moments of connection that go beyond the dancefloor. That’s when I knew it could be something bigger.
EG: What’s a recent track of yours that you feel carries the most emotional weight, and why?
Jenner: Right now, it’s ‘Musike’. The lyrics speak to the way music connects us, and that’s exactly what this track means to me — a celebration of unity through sound.
EG: Outside of DJing and production, what keeps you grounded and balanced?
Jenner: Outside of DJing and production, I find balance in creativity beyond music — whether that’s exploring art, spending time in nature, or connecting with friends. Those moments help me recharge and keep perspective, so I can bring my best self to the music.
EG: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to other rising artists about staying true to their vision?
Jenner: Don’t lose sight of why you started making music. It’s easy to get caught up in what others want or what’s trending, but your voice is unique — that’s your biggest strength.
EG: When people look back on your career years from now, what do you hope they’ll say about your contribution to both music and causes like this?
Jenner: I hope they remember that I cared — not just about making music, but about what music can do. That I used my platform to give back, to create moments of unity, and to support causes that make a difference.
EG: On a personal level, how does it feel knowing that your set tonight will directly support children facing unimaginable challenges?
Jenner: It feels incredibly meaningful. As artists, we get to share something powerful with people — and to know that tonight that energy directly supports children in need gives it a whole new level of purpose. It’s a reminder of why music matters.

EG: When the lights go down and people leave Duke of Tokyo on October 23rd, what’s the one feeling or message you hope they carry home with them?
Jenner: I hope they walk away feeling inspired, uplifted, and part of something meaningful. That the energy they felt in that moment stays with them long after the music stops.
EG: Thank you, Jenner, for being part of this fundraiser. We’re excited to have your energy on board.
Jenner: Thanks so much for including me. I’m really grateful to be part of this event and can’t wait to share the night with everyone!
