Australian producer Arky Waters returns with ‘Holdin’ On’, a collaborative single featuring the vocals of Australian-bred, London-based artist MAMI. The track also serves as the title track from his forthcoming debut album.
Inspired by the likes of Bicep, Jamie xx, and Fred again.., Arky Waters continues to blur the lines between breaks, jungle, and bass, building on the emotional yet club-focused approach that defined his 2023 ‘Johera’ EP.
“This release has been a long time coming. I originally sent the instrumental to MAMI, and what she wrote over it was absolute magic. The song itself came together quickly, but I spent what felt like forever fine-tuning every detail because it deserved that level of care. It’s not every day you strike gold with a collaboration like this. We’re absolutely stoked!” said Arky Waters.
