UK artist Made By Pete is inviting fans to be part of his debut album project through a newly launched Kickstarter campaign. Running for four weeks, the initiative aims to finalize the album’s production, press it on vinyl, and support a full promotional rollout.
“Sort of like a pre-order… but on steroids,” the campaign offers exclusive rewards in exchange for fan support — ranging from name credits on the album to private A&R sessions, and even DJ sets at your own house party. Contributions start from as little as £5.
Backers will support not just the music, but the full creative process: mastering, artwork, videos, press, and digital promotion. “An album is a huge challenge,” writes the artist. “Even though I’ve almost finished the music, there’s still mastering, artwork, videos, press, Spotify playlisting and social media spend to consider.”
To preview what’s coming, one of the album tracks has already appeared as an unlisted ID during his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. Over the next month, Made By Pete will share teasers and updates via his channels.
