Fac 51 The Haçienda has released a treasure trove of 51 archival mixes featuring some of dance music’s most iconic figures. Spanning recordings from 1987 to 2025, the collection is now available on Apple Music.
The selection features sets by Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry, Louie Vega, Armand Van Helden, Carl Craig, DJ Paulette, and Roger Sanchez. The material offers a rare glimpse into the sonic history of the Manchester venue, known for its pivotal role in shaping the UK’s acid house and Madchester scenes.
Founded in 1982 by Tony Wilson, The Haçienda became a cultural touchstone for club music in the UK before closing its doors in 1997. Since then, it has continued as a traveling event brand, preserving the spirit of its original venue through curated performances and archival initiatives.
