Now, with the release of her new studio album ‘NOVA’, Guzova opens a new chapter. Rooted in the themes of transformation and emotional movement, the LP reflects her journey as both an artist and a person. Beyond the studio, her role as a resident DJ at Society Doha and her growing online platforms — including a weekly YouTube podcast and a fast-growing TikTok presence — continue to expand her global impact.

In this conversation, Guzova opens up about the making of ‘NOVA’, her creative process, and what it means to stay true to your voice in a crowded landscape.

EG: Hi, Guzova! Welcome to EG. It’s a pleasure to have you here with us. How have you been doing?

Guzova: Thank you so much for having me! I’ve been feeling inspired and energised. It’s been an intense few months of creating, performing, and preparing this release, but I’m really happy with where everything is heading.

EG: First of all, congratulations on the release of your new studio LP, ‘NOVA’! What are some of your first thoughts now that it’s out for everyone to hear? What has the initial reception been like so far?

Guzova: Releasing ‘NOVA’ feels like finally opening a door I’ve been building for a long time. I’ve put so much emotion into these tracks, so hearing people’s reactions has been incredibly rewarding. The support has been beautiful—messages, videos from shows, and it confirms to me that the stories I wanted to tell are landing with people.

EG: What can listeners expect to find on ‘NOVA’? Is there a concept or emotional trigger connecting these cuts?

Guzova: ‘NOVA’ is built around emotion, movement, and intensity. Each track represents a different moment in my life — some uplifting, some heavy, some meditative — but they all share the same inner message: transformation. It’s an album about breaking through, rising, and reconnecting with your own energy. That’s the emotional thread tying everything together.

EG: How long did the recording process for ‘NOVA’ take you? What were those sessions like? When did you feel like you had a complete record?

Guzova: The recording process took several months. My studio sessions are very detailed — I can spend hours adjusting one idea until it feels right. I knew the record was complete the moment I started testing the tracks in my sets. When I saw the emotional response from the crowd, I realised these songs were ready to live in the world, not just in my studio.

“The biggest obstacle is staying true to your artistic voice when everything around you pushes you to follow trends or quick wins”

EG: What would be the perfect setting to listen to this record? What would you like listeners to take away from it?

Guzova: I imagine people listening at night — driving, walking, or even in a club environment where the low end can breathe. The perfect setting is anywhere someone can feel the dynamics and emotion of the music. I want listeners to take away a sense of empowerment, motion, and connection. ‘NOVA’ is meant to move you physically and emotionally.

EG: By the way, you are a resident DJ for Society Doha. How did this come about, and what does this entail for you?

Guzova: Becoming a resident there has been a beautiful part of my journey. It allows me to shape the musical direction of the nights, test new material, and build a deeper connection with an audience that really listens.

EG: Recently, you were named one of the top 10 DJs of Egypt as part of the TTD competition. Was this your first award? What does that recognition mean to you?

Guzova: Yes, it was one of my first major recognitions, and it meant a lot. Not because of the award itself, but because it showed me that people are feeling something from what I do. It motivates me to keep growing, keep experimenting, and keep pushing forward.

EG: Now, stepping outside of the studio… Given your experience, what would you say are some of the biggest obstacles artists will face in the near future? What advice would you give to newcomers and rising artists?

Guzova: The biggest obstacle is staying true to your artistic voice when everything around you pushes you to follow trends or quick wins. There’s also the challenge of visibility — there’s so much content, so many artists, and attention is fragmented.

My advice: trust your sound, trust your emotion, and build your craft piece by piece. Focus on small goals. Test your music with real people. Be consistent and be authentic. That’s what lasts.

EG: What’s next for Guzova? What milestones are you looking forward to now? Where can your fans catch you next?

Guzova: Right now, I’m focused on growing my weekly YouTube podcast, which has become a big part of how I connect with listeners around the world. I’m also putting a lot of energy into expanding my TikTok community. I’m aiming to grow from 225K to around 300K over the next few months as we ramp up content and releases.

My new track ‘Oxygen’ comes out on December 5th, and I’m really excited to share that with everyone. And beyond that… there are a few things in the works that I can’t reveal just yet, but I promise they’re worth the wait.

EG: Thank you so much for your time, Guzova! We wish you all the best in the future. Take care!

Guzova: Thank you!
