Jeff Mills has reissued his iconic 1995 recording ‘Live at Liquid Room’ to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Out now via Axis Records, the release is available on CD and cassette, coinciding with a global tour that honors one of the most influential live sets in techno history.
Captured in Tokyo in 1995, ‘Live at Liquid Room’ is considered a benchmark in the evolution of DJ performance. Using only two turntables and a pair of reel-to-reel tape machines, Mills delivered a relentless 68-minute set that redefined the craft with speed, precision, and unfiltered intensity. The recording remains a touchstone for DJs and producers worldwide — raw, fearless, and uncompromising.
The mix was originally released in 1996 and has since gained cult status. Three decades on, it returns not only as a collectible reissue but also as a live experience.
The ‘Live at Liquid Room’ tour launched in London on November 8th and will hit over 20 cities across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. Upcoming dates include stops in Paris, Berlin, Madrid, New York, Montreal, Cape Town, and more.
