Watergate Records has officially returned with ‘Watergate IDs 001’, a new 12-track VA compilation marking the label’s first release since Berlin’s Watergate Club closed its doors nearly a year ago.

Positioned as a sonic reset for the imprint, ‘Watergate IDs 001’ reasserts the label’s identity through a curated selection of modern house, melodic club tracks, and subtle Italo influences. The compilation opens with Deckert’s ‘Pocari Sweat’, a sharp house cut with ghetto-tech flair, followed by Miu Lena’s debut ‘Let Me Disport’, a peak-time tool introducing a fresh voice to the roster.

Pole Position joins Steven Jones on ‘In Your Mind’, a vocal-led track with immediate dancefloor pull, while Mick Jerome and Dr Dubski head into deeper territory with ‘Fired Up’. Aiwaska’s ‘Burnin’ brings hypnotic momentum through chopped vocals and swinging groove.

Curol’s ‘Vibora’, made with John Gemiini, Nassá, and Ruddek, delivers bold Afro-house percussion and rhythmic drive. Pinot Negro debuts with ‘U8’, a late-night blend of melodic arpeggios, while Pairetti offers the hook-heavy ‘Darkness’ with retro undertones.

Ae:ther and Momery’s ‘Faraway’ opens up cinematic space before longtime contributors Kiko and Olivier Giacomotto take over with the sleek ‘Seduction’. Asal and Morab introduce shimmering tension on ‘Break It’, before Polygraph’s ‘Reverie’ closes the journey with warm, nostalgic synth lines.
