Producer and DJ Brian Cid unveils his latest evolution with Ladobé, presented in a special New Year’s edition of the EG Podcast series. Recorded live in December 2025 in Panamá City, EG.1052 marks the public debut of the project, now available on SoundCloud and Mixcloud.
More than a side project, Ladobé signals a personal and musical shift. Built around Latin American rhythms, hand percussion, and organic grooves, the sound pays tribute to Cid’s Dominican roots while keeping its focus on movement and energy. Designed for celebration, not analysis, this is music made to connect bodies and smiles on the dance floor.
“This project is about bringing new colors to my roots and letting that energy travel,” Brian explains. The mix captures exactly that—rooted yet open, familiar yet fluid. The first half of the set offers a live, unfiltered transmission of what Ladobé represents: a bridge between past and present, joy and intention, rhythm and release.
