Blazing trails into the new year, EGR is proud to set the tone for a new cycle with Maze 28’s sultry new single, The Way, a gripping tightrope act that is further enhanced by state-of-the-art reconstructions from Ricky Ryan & GMJ, and acclaimed UK duo Framewerk. Stepping up first, EGR mastermind Ricky Ryan links up with Australian auteur GMJ to take The Way into deeper shades as the pair deploy a slithering low-end pulse that surges across atmospheric swells and melodic flourishes for a truly cinematic immersion into the ether.

Taking things into the city streets, Maze 28 presents us with The Way in its original state. A muscular cut, this piece flexes its slick groove and chiseled percussion before unleashing its velvet lead, laced in the glorious hue of a never-ending rave from years gone by.

For our finale, we are driven back home by Framewerk, who lend their signature touch to Maze 28’s The Way as unstable synthetics are expertly distilled into a fractured frame and throbbing stabs that rummage through mirrored halls in a gargantuan recreation for the ages.
