Out now via Remmah Records.
Glasgow-based artists Frankie Elyse & Blair Too have released their debut collaborative EP, ‘& Again,’ now available via Hammer’s imprint, Remmah Recordings.
The release serves as a high-octane introduction to the duo’s synergy, delivering two original floor-fillers complemented by a lush, atmospheric remix from the label boss himself.
The EP’s lead track, ‘& Again,’ captures the electric tension found in the peak hours of a night out, weaving hypnotic vocal hooks through layers of euphoric synthesis. The cut pays tribute to Glasgow’s dance institutions such as Soma and Glasgow Underground.
Second track ‘Zumo’ finds its power in a grit-flecked UKG shuffle and a throbbing low-end. By blending choppy breakbeats with imaginative vocal textures, the duo manages to bottle the chaotic bliss of the rave.
Hammer’s remix pivots the mood, guiding the listener toward a darker, more driving rhythmic territory without losing the original’s ‘& Again’ bounce.
The release is a product of years of creative simmering within Glasgow’s storied sonic landscape. Drawing deep from the city’s renowned club culture, the pair brings a seasoned perspective to the booth. Beyond her production work, Elyse has become a cornerstone of the local scene through her Polka Dot Disco Club residency, an essential FLINTA-focused platform that bridges the gap between homegrown artists and global icons like SPFDJ and Jennifer Cardini.
