Built with a steady sense of progression, the set moves through tracks by GMJ and Matter, Ruben Karapetyan, Stereo Underground, and Michael A. Elsewhere, the mix draws from artists including Gonzalo Sacc and Franco Leonardini, Luis M and Matan Caspi, Greg Tomaz and Alpha21, Somelee, Kostya Outta, Greta Meier and Alisha, Nordfold, Jochem Hamerling, Mayro, Tantum, Osa777, DJ Ruby, and Radiohead, while also incorporating several originals and collaborations from Carlos Gatto with Nayla Scozzesi, Mateo Tapia, and Victoria Blackstone.
Carlos Gatto began his career in the 1990s, touring clubs across Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina. Influenced early on by acts such as Depeche Mode, New Order, and The Shamen, he also participated in early radio programs dedicated to dance music culture during a formative period for the local scene.
During the 2000s, he held residencies at venues including BsAs News, Pacha, Opera Bay in Puerto Madero, and Terrazas del Este. He also appeared at events hosted at Voodoo Motel, Club Namunkura, Mute, Niceto Club, Belushi, and Kika, establishing a steady presence within Argentina’s club circuit.
Since 2010, Gatto has expanded his focus toward production. His originals and remixes have received support from Hernán Cattaneo, Kamilo Sanclemente, John Digweed, Nick Warren, and Danny Tenaglia, with releases appearing on labels such as Soundteller Records and AH Digital.
Alongside his DJ work, Gatto has developed a live format that incorporates synthesizers performed alongside bands and musicians. He also teaches production and DJ courses at Arjaus Academy.
