Brazilian producers, Bengoxi and Brunno (BR), join forces for ‘Calavera’, a new Afro house collaboration released via Simone Vitullo’s Go Deeva Records. The track finds both artists leaning into rhythm-driven production while reinforcing Bengoxi’s growing international presence within the genre.
Built around layered percussion and a steady rhythmic pulse, ‘Calavera’ unfolds through a hypnotic groove that gradually intensifies across its arrangement. Organic textures interact with modulated synth lines, creating a contrast between earthy rhythmic elements and electronic tonal detail. The result balances atmosphere and movement while staying focused on dancefloor momentum.
“‘Calavera’ was designed for that moment in a set when the energy begins to rise. It carries a more tense and hypnotic atmosphere, acting as a bridge where the connection between the crowd and the music starts to deepen,” Bengoxi explains.
The collaboration reflects Bengoxi’s current artistic momentum. In recent years, the Brazilian producer has expanded his catalog with releases that merge melodic sensibility with rhythm-focused production.
