Tara Brooks and Dantiez Saunderson have joined forces to deliver a new remix of Patrick Topping and Kevin Saunderson’s ‘Frisk’. The release will arrive on May 30, 2026, via KMS Records and Armada Music.
Marking the start of a collaborative remix series, the pair rework material from the KMS Records catalog, now under Armada’s banner. Their take on ‘Frisk’ blends deep tech and psychedelic house with Detroit techno influences, combining pulsating grooves, warped synths, and a warehouse-driven aesthetic.
“This remix was a full-circle moment for both of us,” says Tara. “We wanted to honor the legacy of this track while making something that hits hard on modern dancefloors.”
“My dad’s original work on this track had such a rawness to it,” adds Dantiez. “It felt special to reshape that energy with Tara and bring a fresh but familiar take to a new generation of ravers.”
The release includes both an original mix and a radio edit, designed for different listening contexts while maintaining the track’s club-focused identity. Further reworks from the duo are expected later in 2025.
