Swedish artist Karin Park has announced her upcoming EP, ‘EVO,’ scheduled for release on May 8th, 2026, via Size Records. The project serves as the first entry in a planned trilogy titled EVO-LUT-ION-(EN). To lead the announcement, Park has released the debut single, ‘Sing Your Sorrow,’ accompanied by an official music video directed by Simon Silverdahl.

The new material marks a shift toward a darker, gothic electronic palette, moving away from her previous collaborative dance tracks and her work with the noise rock band Årabrot. ‘Sing Your Sorrow’ is an atmospheric electronic pop piece written for the artist’s daughter, focusing on themes of empathy and relief from suffering.

Recorded in 2024 with French producer Anthony Belguise, the EP draws conceptual inspiration from the Swedish mystical painter Hilma af Klint. The production blends analogue textures with influences ranging from house and synthwave to UK garage.

Karin Park has established a career defined by synth-driven textures and experimental electronica, often rooted in the melancholic hymns of her Swedish upbringing.
