Blank Dust introduces Mora’s latest release, ‘Small Piece Of Light’ EP, a three-track collection shaped by subtle textures and reflective tones. The record brings together ‘Small Piece Of Light’, ‘A Different Place’, and ‘Something Real’, each navigating a distinct emotional space.
Built on soft tonal layers and understated rhythms, the EP moves between stillness and gentle motion. Its compositions focus on detail and space, creating an immersive listening experience that shifts between introspection and quiet momentum.
“I think each track explores something different, but at its core, ‘Small Piece Of Light’ is about presence and an attempt to find beauty in the little things, to simply be where life is happening,” says Mora.
This idea anchors the release, with each track offering a different perspective. ‘Small Piece Of Light’ leans into warmth and optimism, while ‘A Different Place’ expands into a more atmospheric direction. ‘Something Real’ closes the EP with added weight and a subtle sense of drive.
Mora Alfmarsson’s sound is rooted in melodic electronic music, focusing on emotional connection across both personal listening and dancefloor contexts. Based in northern Mexico, he has developed a style that balances introspection with shared experience.
