A new festival is set to debut in Spain this summer as Astral Plane: Total Eclipse Festival lands in Segovia. The event aligns with the August 12th, 2026, total solar eclipse, bringing together music and astronomy across a three-day program.

Taking place from August 10th to 12th at La Pinilla Mountain Resorts, the festival is positioned within the path of totality, offering clear views of the eclipse. The program is built around this moment, with Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson set to perform a four-hour ‘Eclipse Set’ timed with the celestial event.

The lineup spans a wide range of house and techno artists, including Ellen Allien, DJ Stingray 313, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Lilly Palmer, Gerd Janson, Mano Le Tough, Nicole Moudaber, Ferreck Dawn, and Eris Drew, alongside Eli Escobar and Jen Cardini. The bill also features Spanish talent such as Coyu, as well as emerging names across the international circuit.

Programming will unfold across three stages. The Eclipse Stage will host the main acts, while the Mountaintop Stage, accessible by ski lift or hiking, offers a panoramic setting. A third area, the Starship Stage, is dedicated to rising artists. In addition to music, the daytime schedule will include talks and workshops focused on the scientific and cultural significance of the eclipse.

Astral Plane is conceived as a roaming concept, designed to follow future solar eclipses across different regions. The inaugural edition in La Pinilla leverages the area’s geography, with high chances of clear skies and infrastructure suited for large-scale events.
