EGNU.175 Mariah

Marking her debut on the EGNU series, Mariah delivers a mix that reflects both her roots and her evolving voice behind the decks. Raised within Azerbaijan’s electronic scene, her journey began with classical training in piano and vocals before a formative trip to Berlin opened the door to club culture.

Since then, she has developed a refined approach to selection, shaped by long hours in the booth and her residency at FOMO in Baku. Her sound leans into house, moving between deep cuts, soulful moments, and subtle 90s references, all carried with a modern, minimal touch.

This one hour session, recorded as part of a recent opening set, captures that balance with clarity. From the groove of Acid Mondays and Mihai Popoviciu to the character of Dusky, Shonky, and Jay Tripwire, the mix flows with intention, building a warm, steady atmosphere without forcing the moment.

A confident first step on EGNU, and a clear signal of what is ahead.
