Colombian DJ/producer Juan Buitrago is making his Balance Music debut with the drop of his latest EP, ‘Hopefulness’. The new two-track record is already available to stream and purchase across all digital platforms.
Speaking exclusively with Electronic Groove, Buitrago said of his first release on the renowned Australian imprint: “Publishing this EP on Balance Music represents a meaningful moment in my journey. Within electronic music, Balance has built a reputation not around immediacy, but around consistency, a space where sound, narrative, and artistic identity are valued over hype.
For me, being part of that catalog is not just about releasing music, but about contributing to a long-term vision. It means trusting the process, staying true to a direction, and allowing music to evolve over time.”
On ‘Hopefulness’, Buitrago delivers a track that unfolds as a fully realized journey, balancing drive with atmosphere at every turn. Meanwhile, ‘Forever Mover’ signals a subtle pivot which channels its energy into a more expansive, club-oriented framework.
The release of ‘Hopefulness’ arrives just before Buitrago’s scheduled tour across the US and Mexico, which will see him performing in Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Denver, and more.
