The release marks tszr’s 100th outing and includes a limited vinyl edition

Chris Lorenzo and aMo (um) have teamed up for ‘HOTS 4 U’, out now via tszr (Three Six Zero Recordings).
The single marks the label’s 100th release and arrives with a limited 12” vinyl edition featuring the exclusive B-side ‘Close Your Eyes’. It has already received support from Peggy Gou, Prospa and Josh Baker, Chris Lake, Dom Dolla, Michael Bibi, Mau P, and Jamie Jones across global stages, including Coachella and Miami Music Week.
The collaboration reflects over two decades of friendship between the Birmingham artists. Chris Lorenzo, known for ‘California Dreaming,’ ‘Appetite’, and ‘Rhymes’, reunites with aMo (um), whose background spans drumming and DJing across techno, rave, jungle, and house.
“This is a record born out of 20 years of friendship,” says Lorenzo. “Our love for drum & bass, garage, house, hip hop, reggae can all be summed up in this record.”
aMo (um) adds: “Two decades of friendship laid the foundation for this moment… I couldn’t be more excited to release this alongside someone who’s not just a friend, but family on tszr.”
Built on sharp percussion and a driving bassline, ‘HOTS 4 U’ samples TZ’s ‘I Got the Hots for You’ and Chaka Khan’s ‘Never Miss The Water’. The track has also featured in Lorenzo’s recent back-to-back set with Skream at Miami Music Week.
