MIGS – Talk To Me In Monotone – Mula

MIGS launches his new Mula imprint with ‘Talk To Me In Monotone’, a tough tech house roller built for late sets.

It leans into a stripped, functional groove from the outset. Punchy drums sit front and centre, while coarse, low-slung textures give the track its weight without overcomplicating things. Everything feels locked in and deliberate, with each element playing a clear role in driving the rhythm forward.

There’s a darker tone running through it, but it stays controlled. Nothing feels forced or overworked. Instead, it builds a steady sense of pressure that carries through the entire arrangement, making it easy to work into longer blends or sit confidently in the middle of a set.

Subtle shifts in percussion and texture keep it moving just enough, without ever pulling focus away from the groove. That restraint is what gives the track its strength. It knows exactly what it is and sticks to it.

As an opening statement for Mula, it sets the tone clearly. Club-focused, no filler, and built with real dancefloors in mind.

Straightforward, effective, and designed to do a job when it matters.

Release date: May 7th, 2026.
