Brooklyn Storehouse has announced that it will close later this year following the end of its temporary tenancy inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
In a statement shared via Instagram, the venue explained that the project was conceived as a “meanwhile project” with a time-limited agreement from the beginning. The space will now be repurposed by the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation for climate infrastructure and clean energy production as part of broader redevelopment plans.
Operators also described the closure as part of the “inherently temporary” reality of working with adaptive industrial spaces. The venue’s final months will include appearances from Beltran, Four Tet, and a b2b set from Luke Dean_ and Max Dean ahead of a closing party scheduled for Halloween weekend.
Launched in 2024 by TCE Presents and Broadwick Live, Brooklyn Storehouse quickly established itself as a large-scale warehouse destination for concerts, club nights, and cultural programming. Recent events featured artists including CamelPhat, Carl Cox, and Marco Carola.
