Anomaly has officially launched its new record label, Anomaly Music, announcing Redfreya’s ‘The Waves’ as the imprint’s first release. The title track arrives May 27th ahead of the full EP release on June 10th, 2026.

The launch follows a recent campaign in which the collective suggested that its long-running radio show might be coming to an end after six years. Instead, the announcement marked the beginning of a new chapter for the brand, now expanding into label operations alongside its existing radio platform, events, and editorial projects.

Founded by Nick Berry, Harry Hooper, and Panthera Krause, Anomaly has spent the past six years building a global community around melodic and emotionally driven electronic music, hosting events in cities including Berlin, Melbourne, and Sydney while collaborating with artists such as Reznik, Andhim, Super Flu, Musumeci, Lehar, and Brina Knauss.

The label launch is accompanied by a stop-motion short film built entirely from past Anomaly artwork, with Redfreya’s ‘The Waves’ soundtracking the piece. According to the founders, the project responds to what they describe as an increasingly algorithm-driven electronic music landscape, aiming instead to prioritize depth, emotion, and dancefloor connection.
