JP Castro – Every High – Ame Records

JP Castro continues to build on a run that has been picking up pace over the past two years with Every High, a new single that sits within his broader push into crossover territory.

Still only 24, the Brazil-raised artist, now based between Miami and São Paulo, has developed a fully self-contained process. He writes, produces, records, and mixes his own material, with a background that leans as much on songwriting as it does on club music. Breakout single Through My Mind reached the Beatport Hype Top 5 and secured editorial backing from Beatportal, alongside support from Black Coffee and a wider circle that includes Zerb, Kevin de Vries, and Maz.

Every High leans into a more refined, song-led approach. The production is clean and controlled, built around layered pads and a restrained vocal that carries the track without overstating it, and with more than enough weight in the low end to hold its own in club

His catalogue has also begun to extend beyond solo releases. Collaboration All For You with Maz has passed 1.4 million streams, while his production work has crossed into Brazilian music more directly through work on Gilberto Gil’s “Vamos Fugir” alongside Jota Quest. Across releases, he has worked with labels including DOC Records, Kompakt and Braslive, building a footprint that moves between electronic and more song-led spaces.

On the live side, JP Castro has already moved into larger environments. He has closed for Black Coffee, shared stages with Eric Prydz, Steve Angello, and Diplo, and performed at Tomorrowland Brasil as well as venues such as Green Valley and Laroc Club. Appearances at destinations like Snow Lodge Aspen have also added to his reach in North America.

With over 6.5 million total streams and a growing international audience, Every High arrives at a point where that upward movement is already established. It adds another piece to a catalogue that is expanding quickly, with a clear emphasis on maintaining control across both the creative and technical sides of the project.

Release date: May 29th, 2026.
