London will welcome a new large-scale electronic music venue this October 2026 as Ironworks launches with a limited series of six events across a redeveloped industrial site overlooking the Thames. Developed by LWE in partnership with placemaking organisation PROJEKT, the project combines warehouse architecture with bespoke sound, lighting, and visual production.
Located at Thames Wharf in East London, Ironworks will feature a 7,000-capacity indoor space alongside an open-air terrace facing the city skyline. The venue occupies the former Thames Ironworks and shipbuilding yards, with production designed to work directly with the site’s industrial structure and history.
The project also includes a visual installation from the Museum of Youth Culture exploring the history of London’s warehouse scene. Organizers say the venue has been shaped through collaboration with local communities, independent businesses, and London-based creative collectives.
Ironworks is set to host just six events during its first season, with full lineups expected to be announced in June 2026.
