A respected DJ, producer, engineer, and label mind, Arnout has long moved with purpose across British house music and beyond. Since the late eighties, he has been connected to the scenes, studios, and circles that helped shape the sound of UK club culture, earning a reputation not only through his own records, but through the artists and labels he has helped guide along the way.

His story includes a deep discography, work with major labels, and the creation of Dogmatik, a label that became a trusted name for heads who value detail, groove, and real musical identity. Yet Arnout’s path has never been about standing still. After stepping away from Dogmatik, he began opening a new chapter, one centered on personal freedom, fresh ideas, and a broader creative reach.

That chapter now includes Modern Explorer, his new label project, first imagined during the pandemic. Built as a home for his own music and close creative circle, Modern Explorer gives Arnout room to move across house, deeper club cuts, and more experimental forms without losing the pulse that has defined his career.

Parallel to the label, Arnout has also been developing a deep house band project, adding another layer to an already rich body of work. Whether behind the decks, inside the studio, shaping modular ideas, or building music with others, his approach remains direct, curious, and rooted in craft.
