Hot Since 82 has announced his new album, ‘Obsessions’, scheduled for release on September 4th, 2026, through his own Knee Deep In Sound imprint. The record marks his first full-length project since 2020 and explores themes of self-acceptance through nine new productions.
Alongside the announcement, Daley Padley has shared the album’s lead single, ‘Shaded’. The track reimagines elements of Shades Of Rhythm’s seminal rave-era anthem ‘Sound Of Eden’, connecting classic UK house influences with Hot Since 82’s contemporary club sound.
Written during a period of touring and reflection, ‘Obsessions’ revisits many of the deep house influences that helped define Padley’s early rise while presenting a more personal narrative. According to the artist, the album reflects both his current creative mindset and the experiences accumulated throughout his career.
Speaking about ‘Shaded’, Padley said: “Moments like this don’t come around often. Taking a record you’ve loved for years, being invited inside it, and then helping introduce it to a new generation of dancefloors is something I’ll never take for granted.”
