London collective and label Beauty & The Beat has unveiled its first-ever double vinyl release, showcasing the music of Brazilian outfit Loopcinico. The record marks a cross-continental connection between the UK capital and São Luís, the capital of Maranhão in northeastern Brazil.
The release highlights the distinct sound of Loopcinico, a group consisting of Luiz Claudio, Beto Ehong, and Lobo Siribeira. The project features four selected tracks originally published in 2013 via the Pará-based imprint Na Music, making them available on vinyl for the first time.
Musically, the material combines live traditional percussion with electronic sequencing, incorporating regional rhythms and poetry from Maranhão. The physical package also features three club-ready interpretations from long-time label affiliates Vidock and Leonidas, which have already received early dancefloor support from selectors like Hunee.
Beauty & The Beat continues to explore global sounds through its curation, blending diverse cultural roots with electronic music frameworks.
