Thaddeus X has released his latest two-track project, ‘Pets,’ via the Last Cat On Earth imprint, featuring an original production alongside a reimagining from producer Prototype.
The title track anchors the release by blending indie dance rhythms with distinct nu-disco elements. Designed specifically for club environments, the composition pairs a steady, driving bassline with intricate melodic top-lines to maintain a late-night club energy.
On the flip side, Prototype delivers an alternative interpretation. The remix strips back the melodic playfulness of the original, recontextualizing the core ideas into a faster, breakbeat-driven arrangement built for higher-tempo dancefloors.
This release continues the ongoing creative relationship between Thaddeus X and Last Cat On Earth, further establishing the label’s signature underground electronic sound profile.
